The 5'-10 sharpshooter led the team in field goals 6341, free throws 4331, rebounds 1721, and scoring C101 pointsh. The team got off to a slow start, finished with a record of two wins and eight losses. The Mulebabes defeated Lincoln, 36-35, in a first round tilt and upset Verdugo Hills, 37-35. Wayne Martin, who scored 81 points, Joe Huven, who had 51, and Ed Rose, who had a free throw average of 75 per cent, were other sparklers. ff l '5oy4 4640725 Building the type of athletes needed to form the winning school teams Wilson is striving for, and giving younger boys an opportunity to develop in coordination and sportsmanship, is the purpose for the iunior high boys' athletic program. Junior teams competed after school iust like Wilson's senior teams do, only the games were intramural between iunior homerooms rather than inter-school. Football, basketball, base- ball, and volleyball tournaments were held. At the iunior track and field finals, several school records were broken.
