He takes his ire out on Mr. Wilkins (Charles Crane) and Mrs. Wilkins (Sharon Payne). All ends well, however, as Martha (Kay Fuller) and Chuck (Mike Kirkpatrick) tie the nuptial knot. Backstage, prop men dabble in paint, hammer. and nails to get up the scenery for tin-play. John Logan and Paul Pace artistically paint a window, while Don Yaap and John Eikenhurg set up a doorway.

Seniors Tom Palmer. Myma Kall . Newman Bradford, and Judy Darr eat in the school lunchroom for perhaps the last time, though Judy looks as though she were on a diet. Oh. the Martins and the Coys, they were reckless mountain boys . . .’ The last of the Martins. Allan Caynor. carries off his hride, the last of the Coys, G. P. Gibson, while Mike Kirkpatrick. Tom Palmer. Mike Owen, Bill Dickenson, J. N. Legg, and Curtis Rivers serenade them. Carol Burns and Curtis Rivers, class president, had the honor of leading the traditional Grand March. Danny Hampel ami Joan Strattin make an arch for them to pass under. SENIOR DAY IS “BIG TIME” Senior Day, the time for a round of memorable activities, is the clay eagerly looked forward to for excitement, gavel y, and fun. The Senior Assembly gets the day off to a usually hilarious start, followed by the issuing of the “Pub, and the school day ends with luncheon in the school lunchroom for the seniors, sponsored and decorated by the P.T.A. After the weary graduates-to-be go home to rest tired feet and relax, they are hack at 8:00 p.m. with their dates for the day’s climax, the Senior Play. After a sad lament on the lot of a spinster, three “old maids,” Kay Fuller, Heather Llewelyn, and Camille Pratt spy the men of their hearts in the audience and take action accordingly. 29
