THIS BOOK BELONGS TO PLEASE RETURN IT You may think this is a strange request, but I find that although many of my friends are bad mathematicians, they are nearly all good bookkeepers. y i c v t— r i « y SK I jsJ e v INTRODUCTION 1 FACULTY 10 FEATURES 20 CLASSES 44 ATHLETICS 90 MILITARY 114 ACTIVITIES 132 Page Four The theme of the 1952 Crusader, It's Fun to Live in America , might well have been It's Fun to Attend Woodrow Wilson , because life at our school typifies so well life in America. Through this theme we are striving to bring to our fellow-students a fuller realization of the wonderful advantages of our American Way of Life, and to express our appreciation for the privileges and responsibilities that we as young Americans so often take for granted. We are proud that we live in America, not because we are so much better off than other people, but proud because we are part of a country that enables us to attain all these advantages, and also to help those who are less fortunate than we. In times such as these with so much turmoil in the world it is only fitting that we here highly resolve that we will do our part in spreading America's joys to the rest of the world. Let's keep it fun to live in America! For the Inspiration of this theme we are indebted to the booklet It's Fun to live in America , published in 1951 by Kwianis International. Page Five The memor Woodrow Wilson will always include its magnificent structure and well-kept landscape. Against a threatening sky, its staunch, yet delicate! IUij.es are serene'and dignified. The west front is beautifully softened by the aft'ePiftoqn sunlight, and under Winter's bleak re.ign, the crystal coats of ice serve only to enhance its stoic beauty. Because of her gracious manner, wise counsel, friendly understanding of the students' viewpoints and seemingly inexhaustable patience, we dedicate to her with affection and pride this twenty-fourth edition of the Crusader.
