Woodrow Wilson Dads Club President's Message lt is a pleasant privilege to greet you at this time on behalf of your Dads Club. The op- portunity brings to mind and heart a keen feeling of responsibility, and therefore we hope to leave some word or thought on this page that may be helpful to you as you face the future. These are changed and changing times. Local, National, and International procedures- domestic, economic, and religious thinking-all are involved. Changes come in cycles, and iust now we are riding at the very crest of a tidal wave of change. Many old guideposts, honored and true for ages, are now submerged beneath this wave. The channel is rough and swift, and the next few years are going to test all of the God-given skills of the navigator. It will take both hands on the wheel and both eyes onthe shore, to keep the Course straight and true, and to avoid the shallows. Who so fails to recognize and prepare for these changes, will merit not the well done of the Captain on the bridge. What may we expect gf the future? Whqt will the atomic age mean in our lives? Have we a right to the pursuit of happiness-to strive for success? These and many other questions flood our minds. To all of them there can be, there MUST be, but one answer. This is America! ln our Nation, three guideposts still stand strong and steady-the school, the church, and the home. These three are submerged by no tidal wave of change, and by them we must chart our Course for the future and move steadily forward as generations of our forefathers have done. Today's student is tomorrow's business eXeCUtive. Today's youth is tomorrow's leader in the community. The future waits on you. To meet its challenge, you will need c h a r a c t e r wrought in the finest of material. The sacred heritage is yours. You will not fail! We salute today, you on whose shoulders falls the cloak of tomorrow's leadership. Trustfully yours, Lloyd M. Campbell OFFICERS Lloyd M. Campbell . .... ...... P resident Robert L. Akins . . .
