The Creed of the Students of Woodrow Wilson l-lioh School We believe in democracy as the basis of government be- cause, in the world of to-day, amid war and strife, the demo- cratic government of the United States stands out as a shining example of liberty and justice. We believe in America and its constitution because of what they mean to us as individuals. We believe in our school which helps us to develop the principles of healthful living and happiness as well as to plan our own success in life. We believe in respecting the Law of the Land which our forefathers created for us, and we are determined that it shall not be destroyed. We believe in friendliness which welcomes new students into our number and spreads warmth of fellowship to the pupils already among us. We believe that honesty, loyalty, courtesy, and sincerity are the ideals that activate us as students of a real American democratic school. We believe in laughter, for we consider it a symbol of free- dom. We believe in ourselves and our ability to make all our creed come true.
