It inspires a love of our country that leads us to take an active part in promoting the security and general welfare of our country. This is shown as our Woodlawn R.O.T.C. raises the flag another day in our free and democratic country.

FOREWORD Our lives, like the fashions and styles of today, are in a state of constant change. Looking back over our four years in high school, we can recall many momentous changes in our lives each year: our teachers, our school, our interest, our activities, our attitudes - all have changed. We also have learned values that do not change over the years - knowledge, morals, and deep friendships. We, the WOODLOG STAFF, have tried to record a part of our memories at Woodlawn High School. In the adult years ahead as we lookback to 1963 and 1964 for a pleasant memory or two, this book will release its captured dreams and it will fulfill its purpose.
