A message to THE WOODLAWN STUDENT BODY, Woodlawn offers every opportunity for mental, physical, social and cultural development. I recommend that you take advantage of these opportunities so that you will be better prepared to meet and cope effectively with the challenges of today and of the future. Our purpose is to offer guidance, direction, and encouragement so that you may better understand yourself and make vital and realistic decisions regarding your life. You will need to determine what your goals are, why you selected them, and what effort you arc willing to put forth for their attainment. Guidance Department Guidance Counselor Woodlawu guidance department is under the supervision of Mrs. M. McCall and Mr. E. Gauthier. Their duties cover 3 vast area of responsibilities. Registration, testing, record preparation, and individual student guidance conferences are some of the duties performed. Mrs. McCall giving information to a student. MR. ELLIS GAUTHIER, This year a Cinema Club under the guidance of Mrs. McCall was organized for interested students. Meetings were held three times a week.
