STUDENTS: Since coming to Woodlawn High School just tv o years ago I have been totally indoctrinated with the high ideals and cooperative attitude that is prevalent on the Woodlawn campus. The friendliness and school spirit permeates the whole atmosphere, and makes me proud and happy to be associated with such an outstanding group of young people. As I walk around the campus I am aware of, and appreciate, the wholesome appearance, enthusiastic outlook, and dedicated work of the Woodlawn student as he prepares for the future. These personal observations have convinced me that the youth of today will make America a better place for us tomorrow. 1 would leave this message with each of you. Don’t wait for opportunity to come a-knocking, it seldom docs. Set goals, be prepared, and then go a-knocking for opportunities. You'll find them. Remember: The person who falls down while trying, gets up a lot faster than the one who just lies down. Mr. Ed. Aucoin MR.
