At the Castle, people have learned to honor their heritage. Many reminders of the school’s past glories are found. Knights have always been proud of Their past and keenly aware that only they can make their future better. This awareness of the future has kept Woodlawn on top. Although the past is honored, the importance of change is understood In two decades Woodlawn has become a living legend. It has come a long way from the small group of students who met back in I960 and chose a mascot, colors, class ring, and walked away with dreams and perhaps fears of the “newness” of it all. Students now know and people will always know, because the Knights have left behind memorials to their achieve¬ ments.
