Administrators Run the Show Keeping the many areas at WHS running smoothly, the administrators had a very full year. Mr. Cook, as the Castle’s mentor, worked with the assistant principals in guid¬ ing the course of the year. Mrs. Pugh coun¬ seled teachers in instruction, while Mr. Green and Mr. Holman handled administra¬ tive and disciplinary duties. Their help proved invaluable to both teachers and stu¬ dents as they made themselves available whenever needed to insure the efficient run¬ ning of the educational process at Wood- lawn. Their dedication made the school year more rewarding. For the past nine years Mrs. Mildred Byrd Pugh has provided guidance for teachers and students as Assistant Principal of Instruction at Woodlawn. Mrs. Pugh retired this year after serving Caddo Parish Schools for 25 years. The 1979 ACCO¬ LADE Staffs wish to extend appreciation to Mrs. Pugn for her years of dedicated service. Instruction 19
