This Is Knight Countr Knight Country means more than the land upon which Woodlawn High School is built. Knight Coun- try is every city, state, and country where a Wood- lawn knight can be found. With its many athletic and service organizations, Woodlawn reaches out to the surrounding communi- ty and, with a spirit of Knighthood, strives to enrich the pride and tradition that Woodlawn represents. Within the boundaries of Knight Country, one can find excitement of sports events, reverence of tradi- tion, accomplishments ofthe past, and anticipations ofthe future. This year a completely new organization has been added to Knight Country. The ROTC has organized a Scottish Band, consisting of dancers, bagpipes, and drums. This organization upholds the pride and tra- dition that have been an important part of Woodlawn High School. The Scottish Band is thc newest member of the ever-expanding territory known as Knight Country.
