The Wireless is published by a hard- working group of Juniors and Seniors advised N 'by Mrs. Croisan. The students gather all the information, write and type the articles and put the paper out every other Friday. The C l Q C U S Wireless contains seven pages of juicy in- formation ranging from engagement announce- y W00 UBUR N X ments to birthdays and Pen Portraits of vari- Lv- ous Seniors. There are students' write-ups of football games, contests, classes and social events. Poems, jokes, and stories often appear as additional features. News from other schools in the Capitol Conference is printed along with reports of club activities and letters to the Dear Bulldog . New students are interviewed and girls' purses have even been emptied to provide the kind of news teen-agers like to read. The Wireless Staff gains valuable experience and at the same time has a good time issuing this newspaper. Since there is no journalism class at Woodburn High, nearly all the work is done outside of school, during noon hours and after school. Unlike many school papers, the Wireless is passed out to everyone free of charge. So, if you like to know the very latest, be wise, read the Wireless. Ed.
