Some of the outstanding things accomplished this year were livestock judging at five colmty fairs and judging at the state fair where they placed sixth high- est in team score in dairy judging. ln the district parl- iamentary contest Frank Colburn was chosen outstand- ing parliamentarian. They also presented their annual F. F. A. banquet. Membership is limited to boys between the ages of 14 and 25 who must engage in vocational agricul- ture. Kappa ' . The KAS was formed to give service to the school in any form in which help can be offered. Some ofthe services areg ushering, selling milk, having a booth at AL the Lettermen Carnival, and sponsoring the Christmas if room decorating contest. The membership, which islimited to twenty,includes sixteen seniors, three juniors, and one Sophomore, with the requirements that members be in the upper half of their class scholastically. The KAS silver pin is awarded to members who par- ticipate in at least 5096 of the service activities. A gold KAS pin is voted by the members to the person in the school who has given the greatest service to the school for that year.
