'ur-I ,.., ,Q ,, ophmore Class In the fall of '45, one hundred and twenty-three students enrolled as Freshmen at Woodburn High School. Officers elected for the year were Iack Drieger, president, Dale Yuranek, vice-president: Betty Krieger, secretary-treasurer, Norma Stone and Loren Lippert, inter class rivalry chairmen, Merry McGrath and Ioe Collins, Student Council representatives. Mr. Kenneth Thompson was their adviser. Highlighting the year were the Senior-Rook reception and a Rook skate and picnic. This year the Sophomores chose as their officers: Dale Yuranek, president, lack Krieger, vice-president, Colleen Walter, secretary: Donna Sonnen, treasurer, Paul Iewell and Patricia Thompson, Student Council representatives, Loren Lippert and Donna Sonnen, interclass rivalry chairmen. Miss Hopkins was their adviser. A very successful skate and the annual class picnic highlighted the year. ii DALE YURANEK
