FRESHMAN HISTORY With diffidence, yet eagerness, the freshman class of muon began their first year as students of Woodburn High School The seventy-two students elected the following leaders: presi- dent, Carl Gustafsong vice-president, Boyce Cannong secretary. Maxine Millerg treasurer, Rodney Mills. The officers took over and led their class and class activities capably throughout the first and hardest year. After initiation and a gala reception from the seniors. they began to shed most of their shyness and to accustom them- selves to the Hrules and regulationsu of Woodburn High. In December they sponsored a Christmas party, which proved successful. Many students showed their talent in the program. To complete their profitable year, they had as advisors, Miss Lotz and Mr. Chapman. Although it is with regret they discontinue their position as Hrooks,H they're eagerly looking forward to the next three years as sophomores, juniors, and finally seniors. Q
