Luther is the acme of popularity, both with the students and faculty. His business and executive ability is second to none. But, in spite of this seeming seriousness of mind, he is unusually frivolous and hilarious when he is having a good time with his friends. Who is that little fellow over there singing as though his heart Will break? Why, that is Johnnie, old-time Glee Club star. Johnnie dotes on the fair flossies and can tell you the names of all the beauties in South Carolina. He seems to make a hit everywhere he goes, for, you know, he has the reputation of being a mighty line hoof slinger. Johnnie was cut out for a sport and he has to be one in spite of himself. 20
