Rotational Unit of Work Systematized The Business Ed. Depart¬ ment has created a new pupil station to which each senior will rotate for a two-week’s unit of work as a culmination of his vo¬ cational course. The work area includes an office-style desk and chair with such equipment as an electric typewriter, electric stapler, typical business papers, etc. While working at this desk, the pupil assumes the role of Office Manager and plans his time to complete routine tasks while coordinating special assignments. He assimulates a variety of duties and executes a typical daily office routine under the supervising teacher. Miss Lynch gives a homework assignment. 26

Mr. Newark discusses students’ future Art schooling. Art Department Meets Demands and Expectations of the Students Expanded by the addition of Miss Pat Conant at the high school and b the co-ordination of the Senior and Junior High Schools to insure an orderly progression of art experi¬ ences for those students involved in the art program, the Art Depart¬ ment continues to grow and meet the demands and expectations of the art (interested) and art oriented students of Woburn. Under the direction of Mr. Frank Newark and Mr. Ted Johnson, creative students are involved in such diversified crafts as creative design, ceramics, batik, enameling, and architecture. Also included in the course is painting, experiment¬ ing with pen and ink, charcoal, tempra, oils, and water colors. Bob Eaton poses for his classmates.
