Together our faces make up the total face of Wittenberg—a changing, growing, maturing face that looks toward the future and accepts its challenges. The moods and attitudes of Witt are as variable as the moods and faces of the students, faculty, and staff that make up the college community. And this is as it should be, for an organism, be it individual or university, is vital and significant only insofar as it changes and meets new possibili- ties, as it presents an alive and interested face to the future. 16
