BAKER Responsibility and a concern for students are the most essential characteristics of each of these posi- tions. These three presons who serve as assistants to higher administrators enable these administrators to perform their duties more proficiently by reducing the quantity of their work. It is the function of the Director of Guidance and Placement to assist stu- dent in obtaining jobs upon graduation. The Head Librarian assures the maintenance and development of Winthrop’s Carnegie Library.
