Thanks should now be given where it is seldom received. We are lucl ,y to have a dedicated staff in our school. The custodians see to it that we always have a clean and pleasant atmosphere in which to learn. The cafeteria ladies make sure that we have hot, nutritious meals each day.

At some time during the year, every student needs information from the library for research papers, book reports, themes, etc. Miss Gilbert is very well inform- ed about the needs of students and is always ready to assist. ( oun elor The guidance counselor assists every student during their high school years. Mrs. Harrison is very well qualified in this field and is always ready to help a student in planning for the future.

ath Mathematics is a broad subject which requires both students who are willing to learn and teachers who have the knowledge and capabilities to teach it. We in W. H. S. have both of these. Mr. Jordan takes the time and care to teach such subjects as Algebra I, Algebra II, Trigonometry, and Advanced Math. Coach Scott teaches the Introductions to Algebra I and Algebra II. He teaches them in away that students easily learn, which helps to make the advanced maths easier if they choose to take them later. Geometry is a subject which goes much into detail, but Coach Stubble- field has the ability to teach it so that his students can understand the mathematical equations. i v 14
