The WHS Marching Band has been kept active throughout the year playing in concerts and helping to keep the spirit alive at such events as football and basketball games. They also participated in the Homecoming parade and were one ofxfive bands invited to attend NAU's homecoming, which was a great honor because they were selected on the basis of how well they play. The band consisted of 72 members and was under new direction this year by Mr. Ronald Bowen. This year's drum major and majorette were Jim Alexander and Tina Bell, LaWana Fulton was the returning twirler. Along with the Meteorettes, these bandleaders helped keep halftime activities enjoyable throughout the year.
