12 MARY ANN ACKERMAN THE CLASS OF 75 The senior class had a very good year their last year at W.H.S. They started out by taking second place on their Homecoming float. Next they took first in the Miss Merry Christmas Contest, with their candidate, Beverlee Stucker, winning the contest. This made the class of '75 the second class in the history of Winslow High to take first place for four straight years. Then the senior class proceeded to take a first in the Christmas tree decorating contest, which was new to W.H.S. this year. The senior class was also very v ealthy their last year. This helped them to have a better senior banquet, ditch day, and senior hop. The seniors earned money by running the concession stand at the football games and by giving a play titled The Screwtape Letters . The class had approximately 138 members, which made it one of the smaller classes to graduate from W.H.S. in recent years. Its scholastic record as a class was, however, unusually high.
