72 DITCH-DAY Elaine Peterson and Susie Peterson stand and shiver as Linda Keller demonstrates her splashing ability on Moreau Walter's arm. 8 Justin Mallette demonstrates his unique swimming ability.

CHORUS VARIETY SHOW 1 1. Thomas Rice entertains the audience with his version of Where Have All the Flowers Gone . 2. Mr. Arthur, as he enthusiastically directs one of the various an varied numbers on the program. 3. Joe Hasten and Rebecca Herlacher, Old Friends . On October 21, 1971, the W. H.S. Chorus presented their annual variety show, The Roaring Seventies, under the direction of Mr. William Arthur. The chorus presented a few numbers including Moon River and Bridge Over Troubled Water . Toynette Tanner and Gwen Sorenson sang Softly A I Leave You and presented the ever popular story, THE THREE BEARS. Always in demand, Sandra Brown and Mary Alice Hayes gave a soul-rocking dance routine. To top it all off there were the two mistresses of ceremonies, Paula Cullum and Gwen Sorenson, who really livened up the show. Altogether it was a most enjoyable presentation. A variety of songs, skits, and other acts were also presented in their usual sizzling style. 3 10
