We are hoping the theme for this yearbook will remind you that through the ages it has been the efforts of willing and steady hands that have promoted our civilization with all its enterprizes. I1 The TOMAHAWK of 1956 is dedicated to Mr. Thomas Mitchell Mc- Clure. For the past six years Mr. McClure's hands have been busy around W.H.S. trying to unravel the mysteries of planes, lines, and angles to aspiring or despairing students. To each one he has offered an abundance of kindness and patience, and a constant challenge to do his best. Along with instruction in mathematics, Mr. McClure has given his students words of wisdom and lessons in good citizenship.
