Student Council Wingfield's Student Council was the hub of all individual representation. At the weekly meetings, student opinions were voiced, debated, and assimilated into practical and beneficial mandates for action. Numerous committees were created and each was responsible for different aspects of school life. The tedious task of composing the Constitution demanded careful con- sideration, as it was to be the guideline which would govern succeeding student bodies. By representing them in various extra-curricular activities and guiding them within the scope of school endeavors, the Student Council set the pace for the implementation of student ideas.
