In Memory ot Miss Burdette With poise and efficiency Miss Anna Lois Burdette went about her Work in school and community, ever on hand in daily routine or in emergency need. During the war Miss Burdette was well-known as the faithful head of the USO canteen. She also served as chairman of the Red Cross canteen. Many a boy and girl will have a better appreciation of home and homemaking because of her inspiration. She was never too busy to answer questions or give understanding at- tention to problems of students and teachers. We are all richer for having known Miss Burdette and poorer for having lost such a wonderful counselor and friend. Anna Lois Burdette Page Nine
