New Kind Of Musical The musical this year was different than it had been from other years. Salute to Broadway was written by Kurt Zcheile, Mary Fran Asmus, and the cast. The Hrs! act involved all the actors remembering the dif- ferent musicals they were in and singing songs from them to warm up for their performance. The second act was entitled The Show. The actors and ac- tresses were dressed in tuxes and evening gowns. They sang songs and medleys from hit Broadways shows. Junior, Joyce Scoggins, said this type of musi- cal had its advantages and disadvantages. l learned a lot and met many different and interesting people, she said. Theresa Barrington, Joyce Scoggins and Cindy Terranova show off their musical talent. Theresa Barrington and Steve Hettinger dazzled the audience with their professionalism.

Celebrate! The Christmas festivities got underway Satur- day December 22, I979 with the Christmas Co- tillion sponsored by F.B.L.A. F.B.l..A. also made corsages and boutonieres for the occasion. Mu- sic was provided by Disco Connection. Santa Claus played by Mr. Morey roamed around spreading cheer as couples got their pictures taken on an old fashioned bridge. As the even- ing progressed, the King, Ken Uhle and Queen Carole Boone were named. Their squires and attendants were juniors, Brian May and Robin lights.
