They had many different performances including the DAR Con- vention, and the Chamber of Commerce Dinner. The girls wore dresses that bloused at the top and were made out ofa lavender print. Biggest Stage Band Monday. Wednesday and alternate Friday mornings at 7: I5 the sounds coming from the band room are of the stage band. Under the direction of Mr. Ed Ranum, they play jazz and rock tunes by well known artists. This year the nineteen members have been working on improvisational souls. Girls' Choir Sounds Good The beginning choir this year was all women. Di- rected by Mary Fran Asmus, they sang songs from pop to oldies. Junior, Joyce Scoggins. was the accompian- ist. The choir sang at places such as the Nursing Home, the Middle School, and Tozer. The girls all wore skirts and shirts to match. The choir worked hard all year and sounded very good.
