UHS Baseball Team Works Well Together Close but no cigar was Coach Rex Michie's opinion of the 1979 Baseball sea- son. This proved to be true as the boys lost many games by only one or two runs. Throughout the season the boys relied upon their goal of leaving every game with the attitude that they played up to the best Y of their abilities . The Wizards ended the season with a 4-6 league record, and a 5- 10 overall record. Seniors Show Leadership The Windsor Boys' Track Team was a small group, but Coach I-Iarsin was im- pressed with their performance. Coach Harsin felt a lot of help came from Dave Hettinger, Dave Figal, Brian Stromberger and Kirk Kimberling. Kirk was leading scorer, placed fifth in State in the two mile, and broke his two-mile record. Coach Harsin was also pleased with the freshmen and sophomores , who placed third in the Freshmen-Sophomore Meet. Coach Harsin is looking forward to a strong season next year if all the fresh- men, sophomores and juniors return. Senior Kirk Kimberling shows determination as he nms his leg of the relay.
