Boys Third In Northern Division With an overall record of 8-9, the Windsor boy's basketball team hadatheir second best season in the last fifteen years, were third in Northern Division, and had the third best defensive team in the league. Coach Adams mentioned some outstanding players which were: Gary Pittman, tenth leading scorer and sixth leading rebounder in the Welcog Ray Lou- denburg, second in career assists in Windsor historyg Ken Uhle, seventh lead- ing rebounder in the Welcog and Mike Stutzman, twentieth leading scorer in the Welco. Only losing three seniors and hav- ing eight juniors return, three are start- ers, next years team should do well if a lot of hard work is done. Varsity Is Northern Division Champs Coach Burke feels the Windsor Football Team achieved a lot of things which have not been achieved in a long timeg he also feels the team brought Windsor back to the top. This year's team goals were to win Northern Division and to make it to state playoffs which were both accom- plished by the team. Seniors Craig Fitz- simmons, Marvin I-Ieckman and junior The Windsor team shows its defense that helped make them Northem Division Champs. Craig Fitzsimmons made first team running back, Marvin Heckman made second team guard, and Ken Uhle was chosen for Hon- orable Mention.
