Swimmers First In Double A Meet With a hard working group of girls, the swim team set out and accomplished one of their main goals by winning the Double A Swim Meet. Coach Mehl complimented the team by saying that they were all consistent including diver Terri Shireman, who also went to state. The seniors added a lot of spirit and leadership to the team. Next year, they will be greatly missed by the underclassmen. With a lot of depth in the younger girls the team should do quite well next year. tg I 9 , . .V.'s Take North Division Starting out with a very high goal of go- ing undefeated throughout the entire sea- son, the j.V. football team almost reached that goal. Losing only their first game of the season to Valley, they went on to defeat Berthoud in the final stand-off of the season. Coach Hodges said, The season was culminated in the Berthoud game by a very fine effort, both offen- sively and defensively. He was very pleased by the effort put forth by the team and hopes this season will help to develop a winning tradition. With a fine record of 6-l, we're sure the j.V. team is off to an excellent start. During a game against the Reds, a Windsor defender tries to tackle a Eaton player.
