The council was concerned with a variety of projects for the improvement of the school. One of the primary goals for this year was to raise money fora student lounge. A lounge would provide facilities for student activities before school and at noon. The council also tried to improve school-community relations by inviting various chapter officers to visit the school. The council urged participation in all clubs and took the initiative in getting new clubs started. President Bob Rcscth presides at a student council meeting.
