And though we don’t object to being cleansed of the debris of the past, we like to hold on to those solid, wholesome materials that have gone into the building of our lives, the structuring of our futures. With this as our chief inspiration, we, the staff of TSK 110 TSO 1969, arc pleased to offer you this pictorial review of a year in your school life. We hope that you will treasure the memories preserved here as much as we have appreciated tin privilege of compiling them for you. Burns THE SUPERINTENDENT Congratulations to the graduates of the Class of 1969, and greetings to all the Window Rock High School students. This has been a year of challenge and opportunity, and most of you have done well. This year also marks the end of the decade of the Sixties. None of us knows what the Seventies will hold in store for us, but it is certain that the Seventies will be another decade of change and challenge. To successfully meet the Seventies you will need to remember and use the training that you have received up to this time. To the graduate, we wish you good luck and hope that the foundations formed here will be adequate for your needs. We look to you for leadership and are confident of your success. We wish the undergraduate to return with renewed dedication to obtain an education that will help you the rest of your life. The council was concerned with a variety of projects for the improvement of the school. One of the primary goals for this year was to raise money fora student lounge. A lounge would provide facilities for student activities before school and at noon. The council also tried to improve school-community relations by inviting various chapter officers to visit the school. The council urged participation in all clubs and took the initiative in getting new clubs started. President Bob Rcscth presides at a student council meeting. Janet Cordes. Kick Pierce.
