Boys and Girls State LYDIA HUBBARD RONALD BENALLY BILL BRADY Representative to Girls State this summer at Tucson, Arizona was Lydia Hubbard. At Girls State, Lydia learned much about local, county, and state government. Lydia was a member of the Federalist Party. She lived in the city of Saquaro of Cocopah County. Lydia ran for the office of Supreme Court Justice. Bill Brady and Ron Benally were the representatives for Boys State. The boys spent a week in Flagstaff learning about local, county, and state government. Bill was a Nationalist party member and Ron was a member of the Federalist party. Fremont City was Bill's home city. Ron's city was Cooke City. Bill was Commissioner of Roads for Fremont City. Ron ran for the state senate office. Fort Defiance Trading Post sponsored Bill Brady and Dunn Mercantile sponsored Ron Benally. The Window Rock P. T. A. sponsored Lydia Hubbard. 81
