This is an exciting place! There is the excitement of facility development with our new academic center and the construction of our ice arena. There is the excitement of students making the Honor Roll for the first time. There are lots of wonderful little faculty children in the dining room. We had great costumes on Halloween! We have -had a lot of fun, good spirit, good friendship and a strong sense of community. There has also been hard work. You have probably worked a lot harder than in previous school experiences. You have enjoyed the excitement of intellectual accomplishment. School should be fun. Learning is fun. Sports are fun. Friends are fun. You have experienced all of this and it is my sincere wish for you that many years from now you will look back at your experiences here and recognize what an enjoyable time it was. Our graduates often tell me that their best years were here. In addition to this being an enjoyable experience, I hope that you will also recognize it as rewarding. You met the challenge. E Coach, Teacher, Father, Husband, Friend. Jacques Delorme was horn in Quebec and grew up in Acton Vale. Canada. He graduated from providence college. Rhode Island. in M84 with a major in accounting. but his true passion has always been sports, He coached and played professional hockey in Europe for twelve years and worked at CCM in Quebec for two. prior to coming to The Winchendon School to coach hockey and teach ESL and computer science.
