When we reach the new centiry you will be in the begnning stages of your careers and, perhaps, starting families. Politically, economically and morally you will be starting to assume responsibility for guidng ou' society. I hope that you spend the next several yeas becoming truly prepaed. Most of all, be prepared for change and a significantly increasing civersity in ou' population. Get to know about, and appreciate, the cifferences among us. Your best ally in becoming prepued will be you' education. Pursue it vigorously and with seriousness of pupose. Learn about, and lean to protect, ou' envionment. lt is fragile and your decisions about it will be critical. Most of all learn to strengthen you' moral and ethical value system. You will be tested. More than anything else, you need to be able to be proud of your moral positions. ' Ms. LaBelle and I wish you success and happiness. We hope that you will come back often.
