When we reach the new centiry you will be in the begnning stages of your careers and, perhaps, starting families. Politically, economically and morally you will be starting to assume responsibility for guidng ou' society. I hope that you spend the next several yeas becoming truly prepaed. Most of all, be prepared for change and a significantly increasing civersity in ou' population. Get to know about, and appreciate, the cifferences among us. Your best ally in becoming prepued will be you' education. Pursue it vigorously and with seriousness of pupose. Learn about, and lean to protect, ou' envionment. lt is fragile and your decisions about it will be critical. Most of all learn to strengthen you' moral and ethical value system. You will be tested. More than anything else, you need to be able to be proud of your moral positions. ' Ms. LaBelle and I wish you success and happiness. We hope that you will come back often. We will keep you in our prayers. Sincerely, X , f - j lowes gl, l gig J. William LaBelle HEADMASTER .3 'U is 1: aw Nm hx A Sic-'nur-A M E ,:. F 1 Q1 4 ' 1 A w. . hug- ' .21 ..,., , x f , Q 'x NRC. Now that l think about it I realize that l would have no meaning for life if l could avoid having things happen as they have. l have had bad experiences before in my life and these occurances have played a part in molding me into the person I am today. l have been shown by life some of the stones that will be thrown in my path in the future, now l may be able to avoid some of the things that l might otherwise be trapped by. Yet, l know this only because l have been trapped before. l know that these stones thrown in front of us are actually seeds of knowledge which have been cast at our feet so that we may realize how we must change in order to live better lives. Only from these seeds will we learn what we must do in order to live life to its fullest meaning. These stones were tossed at us so that one day we may cast a seed at the feet of our future, only by tossing these seeds will we help the young bud to spread its wings and fly.
