LORRAINE M. CONNOR has distinguished herself by being consistently open, humorous, and kind. Throughout her six years at Winchendon, Mrs. Connor has held positions of great importance. She has been the Head of Housekeeping, was the secretary for Headmaster Lewis V. Posich, and is now the Administrative Admissions Assistant. She is one of the first persons we had contact with when we came to the Winchendon School and she continued to make herself available to everyone throughout the school years. She is an essential part of Winchendon. Thank you, Lorraine Connor, for treating all of us at the Winchendon School like people. Dedication . we 49 as ZZ 'Z iff . 1 ' M. A veteran squad sparked by key new-comers, coalesced into th most powerful offensive machine ever assembled in a Winchendon uniform. Led by a record 29 goal from center forward Reggie Tucker, the team scored 70goals in overwhelming the toughest schedul ever faced by a Winchendon soccer team. With the leadership of senior tri-captains Arbad lsmail an Paul Neal, as well as Mark McGlinchey, Winchendon dominated mid-field, allowing seven players tt score four or more goals during the course of the season. The Nales brothers, Fortunato and Eladic scored 17 goals between them and accounted for 17 assists as well. Other top scorers were: Paul Neal, goals, 5 assists, Simon Bellows, 4 goals, 8 assist, Arbad Ismail, 4 goals, 6 assists, and senior tri-captai Fernando Sulaiman, 4 goals. The defense was led solidly by fullbacks Fernando Sulaiman, Afshin Rahbari and Tom Coughlin. The fu backs protected the goal so well that the opposition was allowed a mere 9 shots per game and goalie Steve Rowland, john Kichler and Carlos Olarte were forced to make only 70 saves during the entirr season. Season awards were given to Reggie Tucker and Paul Neal as Most Valuable Players. The Coache Award went to Afshin Rahbari. Congratulations to the entire team and thanks to all those who came out to support the team.
