You have successfully completed a major undertaking. In a very real sense, you and I have shared in this accomplishment, and I want to thank you for making this year, my year as Acting Headmaster, a very special one for me. As you embark upon different paths, always remember that Winchendon was the place where it all began. There will be many times in the future when you will recall your classmates, your teachers, and others at the school who have made it the caring, supportive institution that it is. I hope that you do so with fondness and gratitude. All of us--you, the entire school community, and I--have grown and developed together. We have, in retrospect, shared many experiences together. Now, as you prepare to go out into the world alone to build upon that which you have achieved here, take with you our concern, our loyalty and our friendship.
