AVwMuw 7 HEADMASTER'S MESSAGE The majority ofthe senior class is comprised of young men who had started here as freshmen. Four years ago, individually and collectively, they were sure they were part of what they promised would be The Best senior class in the school's history. The attitudes and the spirit of the class were main- tained, even strengthened, as new members were added to it in the next three years. In the fall of l 972, that is, the beginning of their senior year, they used as their guide line, The Best is Yet to Be and adhered to that line as closely as human factors permit. r Their willingness to assume any responsibility and to carry it out, not for sewsh gratwcation, but in the best interests ofthe school are indicative of the attitude and spirit which made the class unique and so good. It was unique in that the prevailing mood among the young has been somewhat opposed to this philosophy - it was so good because it leaves a lasting impression on the classes-V which follow, so good because it places the good of the community ahead of any other consideration. In going your separate ways which will take you far afield and into varied experiences, keep ever in mind what part you, as an individual person. played in and contributed to your class and your school, and the part you can and will play in the society in which you will find yoursej Do not let go nor lose what you have gained.
