and desperately needs the help of our youth Young
people must be ready to do thelr part Our hlstory
teaches us that our young people have never falled thelr
country 1D tlme of emergency Wlth all the rlghts and
prlvlleges of a Democracy there naturally come these
responslbllltles, especlally lH tlmes l1ke these
Our well belng lS assured, and our llbertles and
rlghts are made secure only as we each do our part to
ward preservlng them It seems obvlous that lf we are
to ward off the dangers whlch threaten these funda
mental llbertles, we must study earnestly ln order to
understand clearly and act lntelllgently
We must all ask the questlon, Wwhat can I do to
best serve my country9N The best any young person can
do 1S to make Wgettlng an educatlonn h1s full tlme Job
The Army, the Navy, and lndustry need badly, young
people w1th good educatlons There 15 no place for the
defeatlst attltude that Wthere 13 no future for young
people " Your country needs you desperately Your
country needs alert, lnformed, lntelllgent young men and
women as never before
