They dramatize the major problems of teenagers in a series of humorous skits which pro- vide a sensitive atmosphere for a dynamic and meaningful discussion of the problems portrayed. Prob- lems addressed include curfew, runavvays, shoplifting, report card grades, dating, drugs, smoking, the generation gap and many others. The highly acclaimed presenta- tion has been very successful once again this year and has appeared at numerous area schools as well as on television. The cast included: Renee Allen, Harold Bratcher, Melvin Brennan, Eric Byrd, Nina Coleman, Michele Coston, Samantha DuQuesnay, Nancy Elliott, Richard Emenheiser, Stephen Everette, Sally Gallagher, Michael Knorr, Melisa Kovach, Su- san Kulp, and Peter McGraw. EGG BABIES hen one talks about Psychodrama and the infamous egg baby activity, there can be only one teacher behind this cha- os: Psychology teacher, Mr, Welch. He started Psychodrama as a way to handle problems that trouble high school students. Though the psychodrama production is noted for its zani- ness, the group performs skits on serious subjects. These subjects range from drunk driving, dating, and other aspects of high school living. You may wonder just what is egg-baby! Well, Mr. Welch, in his psychology class, decided to impress the importance of child care, and the amount of time that child needs. And, you guessed itl Each student had to give birth to their own bundle of joy: the egg-baby! These egg babies teach that human life can't be forsaken. 5 Q The String Orchestra is a small but 5 dedicated group of musicians who per- fl form European-style classical music on bowed string instruments. lt is directed by Mr. Richard Schlenker. Throughout the year, leadership was provided by seniors Joy Dingle, Erika Finch, Harold Bratcher, ts ss Hans Gulati and Alicia Glenn. The Band, under the direction of Mr. Fanelli 18th Grade Bandl and lVlr. Moran lConcert and Jazz Bandl have also per- formed at the winter and spring Concerts. With the dedication and determination of Mr. Moran, Mr. Schlenker and Mr. Fanelli the young musicians always have enjoyed the variety of music and opportunities to perform.
