The Chimera Chronicle C? ,Q .K Morning Announcers 's S is 9.-.x its -iff! ...,.'?' This year's newspaper staff is quite enthusiastic. They believe the Chimera Chronicle is the best student news- paper in the county. The Advisor, Mr. Zalot, keeps them working hard but also takes them on very interesting field trips. On these outings, the staff learns tips on how to become successful reporters and interviewers. Good Moming! Please rise for the flag salute. Each morning the students and staff are greeted with the melliferous sounds of the student announcers. The selection procedure is very competitive. Each candidate is given the same excerpt to read and is judged Canon- ymouslyi according to diction and voice qual- ity. This year as a result of all four applicants being so proficient, it was decided to select all four. The two teams now participate on a bi- weekly basis. The Willingboro High School Key Club is a group of male student volunteers who spend their time helping their fellow students and community. Under the direction of Mr. Liberatore, the group planned visits to the Burlington County Special Services School and assisted teachers with their annual Halloween party for the handicapped children. The Key Clubbers collected and made food baskets for the needy families during the winter holidays. They accompanied the Z-Club to the Tender Home for Christmas Carolling. In addition, these service-oriented young men helped the March of Dimes during the Walk-A-Thon and provided assis- tance to the high school at special events held at the school during the year.
