he word i'pride is one that can best describe our football team. From the coaching staff to the players to the managers, Boro pride is exemplified on and off the field. Through sheer dedication, time and ef- fort toward a common cause, the Chi- meras forged through tough times to end with a winning season. Led by captains Don Crump and Todd Lane, the varsity team faced ad- versity but decided not to settle for sec- ond best. After a slow start the team rallied and beat tough teams like Cin- naminson and Cherokee. Learning To l J .V. Football The J.V. Football team may not have had a win- ning season in terms of their record, but they were definitely winners in terms of the experience they gained this year. Junior Varsity is a place where the younger players gain experience, receive play- ing time, and sharpen their skills so that they can be competitive on the Varisty level. J.V. is also a place where the young athlete learns about HBoro Pride .
