My dear Seniors, Do you remember our first orientation meeting in Septem- ber of 1984? It was then that I predicted how quickly these four years would fly by us to th saw was Slowly, we acquainted. Homecoming was ear- ly that year, so we had to work vigorously to get ourselves that ornaments. blossom. year was . We took place many participants. Our crab soccer team started to gain confi dence as we went into periods against year's and Many members positive comments about you. That made me so Ancient Roman and the soccer team to victory. We participated in many fund-raisers: popcorn, candy and a Jr.-Sr. spring sale. Some very diligent classmates worked at N Great Adventure to helpgus raise money for Willingbords first Junior-Senior Prom. As the host class, wehad somuch fun working with7Mrs. Friefelder and thelClass of '87, The theme was It's So Hard To Say Good-Bye to Yesterdayf' The Presidential Ballroom at the Cherry Hill Inn became a room of enchantment while Power 99 provided the music. It was tru- ly a fantastic evening. A luncheon was planned to celebrate the receiving of class rings. Many parents joined the festivities. Now, my very special friends, I have saved the best for last. You were triumphant this year in Homecoming, taking first place in all Spirit Week competitions. Our spectacular hallway and float depicted Alice in Wonderland. So many ofyou dressed in costume and walked with you class during the parade. The spirit with which you were united that night transformed you into true winners, athletically, academically, and socially. Working in the snack shack during football season brought still more of us together. Comradery became a strong force which held us together through the trials andtribulations of this year. Parental support and involvement was very importantlto the success of this year. Fundraisers for this year were t-shirts, wrapping paper, chocolate Santa's, Valentine Candy and Easter Candy. The Senior Class Trip to Florida was a sensational climax to our 1988 activities. Cherry Hill Inn welcomed us back for our Junior-Senior Prom which was a huge success. . . I My final meeting with you as a Class will be Graduation night. This time I will not see timid youngsters, but mature, unique, talented and confident young adults. You have been the highlight of my teaching career. So many of you have unselfishly given me your time, dedication and love. For that I am grateful. I wish you love, happiness, and success. This class is bursting with potential - use it wisely. As you leave this building, you take a part of me with you. Love to all of you, X C Senior Farewell - I A
