l We've Dnly Just Begun . . . Carpenters l ooking back, the eighth graders started off with nothingg and then it moved into full scale crazy, ln the beginning of September, as the in-coming class, we didn't have class officers. Also, since it's the class of 1992's first year in high school we had a bank account of zero dollars So we held a week of campaigns for all Alethea Rivers prepares for Homecoming Week. Emerging at the end of the week were Jenni- fer Stephenson - President, Carla Gunning - Vice-President, Justin Schaller - Trea- sury, and Daphne Marc - Secretary. Now that we have our leaders, all we need is mon- ey to build our float for homecoming week. The Student Council and all of the upper classes came to our rescue. Next, in the first successful week of October we held a very bake sale. We did really well with the two day l'm very sale.
