Masquerading Ghosts, Goblins, Monsters Parade Solo at Halloween Costume Ball Ghosts and goblins spook the suds out of Williams High. The annual Masquerade Ball brought out the Halloween Spirit. Prizes were awarded for best male and female cost lines. Charles Buffet recieved first place as a monster. In second place was Brian Richardson, he was a vampire, and in third was Eugene Buffet dressed as Yoda. In the best female's costume, Priscilla Montoya came in first, she was a senorita. In second was a bunny named Melanie Molina and Dawn Phillips came in third as a vampire. The Tusayan Yearbook Staff sponsored the Masquerade Ball. A. Witch, Anna Hill, scares Raggedy Ann, l erlinda Mendoza. 8. Freshmen J. Baze and O. Mahan ham it up for the camera. C. Vampire B. R .chardson won second pLace. D. Varieties of people showed up at the annual i'lasquerade Bali. E. Juniors S. Price and P. Montoya have a good time. F. Disc Jockey's R. Bowman, J. Payne, and M. Martin gave a helping hand at the dance. 16 Dances Student Life

Floats bobbed down Bill Williams Avenue of hopes of floating to the top of competition. Construction began the week before Homecoming and classmates met to discuss designs and what supplies were needed. Napkin stuffing was the design for most of the floats. When Frongelyn Booker was asked how much she did at decorations, she said My fingers felt like the chicken wire after stuffing thousands of napkins! Winners of the float competition were first place. Juniors, second place. Sophomores, third place. Freshmen. A. Freshen c.Valdivia, C.Zabala, J.Baze, S.Land, E.Aguilar, and F.Srtiith ride on their float that took third place. B. Sophomores A.Valdivia, R.Jorgenson, J.Russell, M.Newman, and R.Rodriguez ride on their float which captured second place. C. Students S.Craig, M. Sandoval, and J Otero ride on the fire engine. D. Juniors P.Brown and C. Rogers ride on the Junior float which captured the honors of first place. E. Band members ride and play during the parade.
