Silly Costumes, Burning Wood Heat Up ’85 Homecoming From beach wear to '20's wear, Viking spirit got involved in homecoming dress-up days. Bermuda shorts, flowered sheets, taped glasses, flapper costumes, and lots of black and orange were cannon sights throughout the week. Also included was the traditional bonfire held on October 3. Classes competed to have the most members in attendance. The blaze found more seniors than juniors moving from the intense heat. The festivity ended with cheerleaders promoting spirit.
