FHA Mesa Lures Ladies 2 C flour, 1 C sugar and a dash of cinnamon were on the minds of Future Homemakers of America as they prepared pastries to sell at their snack breakfast in late February. Other fund raising events included dances and other snack breakfasts. The money earned was used for a trip to a state-wide convention in Mesa on April 12 and 13. The statue was worn from constant pummeling by wind, salt air and acid rainand the iron ribbing supporting the copper covering was badly corroded. A two-year restoration began in July 1984. NHS National Honor Society includes Sponsor Rose Anna Sharpe, Sr. Michelle Jaramillo, Jr. Kim German, Jr. Randi Schulte, Jr. Lisa Baertlein, Jr. Shawn Winchester and, not pictured, Sr.Shelley Malone. Honors Club Serves Community Chosen for academics, leadersh p, service and character, National Honor Society members involved themselves in activities designed to make their school and community better places. Active in parties for the handicapped, and the library balloon release at the elementary school, club members become a valuable resource. Funds earned through sales and raffles are earmarked for scholarships. 1.Janitor Pressie Torrez pretends to abscound with the goodies at the FHA snack breakfast. 2.
