Tusayan New Ideas for Tusayan Become Main Theme for Yearbook Fourteen top students were chosen for the Publications honors course. They undertake writing, editing, photographing, selling and creating yearbooks. Staffers had many fund-raisers, including a Masquerade Ball, jewelry sales, air band dance, ad and book sales. The money raised helped to fund the book and decrease its cost. Other funds were used for field trips and publications camp scholarships. A new price of $20, which is down $5, is the '85 book's price. The lower price was negotiated with the yearbook company and involves having the staff do their own paste-ups. The computer age came to Tusayan this year as Jimmy Price, Heidi Speckels and Jeri Zuber were trained to use the Applewriter system. Print-outs were then used for the copy in the books. This is a big improvement over typed copy which we used last year, stated adviser Bonnie Dent. This book's copy will be crisper, easier to read, and justified on both margins. 24 Clubs Tusayan The Tusayan staff from left to right arc: ”, Winslow, photo editor; K. Hagman, T.
